During my refresher course in carbs counting, as explained HERE in more details, I have re-discovered how complicated bananas can be. As i said there:
" .....bananas are tricky when it comes to determining how many carbs they contain: you weigh the whole banana but you eat it without a peel, all the time wondering if all the banana peels are the same thickness. They also say the amount of carbs in a banana depends on how ripe it is. Go figure then !"
So, I grabbed few samples I had, weighted them and made this poster - BANANOMETER as a reminder.
It is now stuck to my fridge and here it is if you like it.
